Tudor Black Bay GMT 58, on its new Jubilée bracelet.

The 2026 BB GMT 58: Only one change, the bracelet! While I like the 39 mm case a lot, I would appreciate a thinner one. But all in all, a very cool version. Now Tudor, please, a BB GMT 54 with its 37 mm case, and thinner, too! Best, Nicolas

I’ve had this watch for over 20 years. And still to this day when I put it on it does it for me.

It was love at first sight with the 116520 - the first Daytona with an in house automatic movement. I know many these days prefer the zenith movement Daytonas, but back in the day this was all anyone could talk about.

The Modern Daytona Era - 116520 to 126500LN: What Actually Changed?

Been thinking about how differently collectors talk about the steel Daytona depending on which generation they came up in. The 116520 introduced the Calibre 4130 in 2000 - column-wheel, vertical clutch, entirely in-house. That was the real turning point.

I just left a formal reception in downtown DC—

I was going to wear a more formal dress watch but decided to go with the BB 58. I think it acquited itself well!!

New York Times Rolex Watch-spotting (Thursday 05-07-2026)...Be realistic, demand the impossible!

Note: a New York Times article with Che Guevara in the title brings to mind the Rolex GMT Master, but that would be low hanging Rolex watch-spotting fruit. New York Times article Thursday 05-07-2026: New Che Guevara Documentary Shows There Is More to Know

Any real life experience/views of both the Sundust and Meteorite (black subdials)?

In person is the Sundust warmer than the Meteorite? Not asking about the cost premium which I'm sure is significant. Best, Robert Fotos from web
